Our Process
The 4 Critical Steps
We work in tried and true stages for all of our videos in order to predicability get you the best product every time.
Stage 1 // Discovery
We work with your creative director or take on the vision yourself. Regardless, understanding the purpose is a critical step that many can forget. It starts by asking questions. What are you trying to achieve? Why does it matter? Who are you trying to speak to? It’s all about getting down to the "why" that will run through your project. Once we understand you and your message, we can help others do the same.
Stage 2 // Scripting
Our team works with yours to develop a written out visual concept that will be both effective and on-budget. Getting the project right on paper is the key to getting the final product you want.
Stage 3 // Design
Now that the vision and plan is set, it’s time to start making the design decisions. We’ll start creating few sequences from the script to make sure that you are happy with how the final product will look.
Stage 4 // Production
The road has been laid out. All of the decisions have been made. Now it’s simply time to execute. We'll finish the rest of the scenes and then hit export for the world to see.
Pricing Factors
How the Project is Priced
Each project is unique and therefore there are a few factors that play into budgeting for a video overlay project.
Production Value
Going for a more polished look, increased details, or complex animation techniques may raise the price of the animation.
Runtime
The longer a video is, the more sequences there are and the more work it takes to produce.
Rounds of Revision
Before starting a project we decide on the number of revision cycles to include in the project.
Timeline
If a quick turnaround is needed that might increase the expenses of resources and therefore a higher budget might be required.

The Process of Stages is Important
A Deliverable For Every Stage
Stages our way of creating checkpoints for your approvals as we go along. Each stage we will provide a deliverable to approve.
Revision Cycles Are Normal
One of the reasons we provide deliverables at each stage of the process is because we want your feedback. If we nail it the first time, great! On to the next stage. But if it still needs a little work, no problem. That’s built in to the process and timeline. We take your feedback and return with a revised version for your feedback or approval. Rest assured we won’t march ahead to the next stage of the process without your sign-off.
Approvals Are Final
We work hard to give you everything you need to make a thoughtful and informed decision at each stage of the process. But once the approval is given, we move onto the next stage. In other words, moving backward in the process is not part of the plan. For example, if you approve the Design, then decide in the Production Stage you’d like us to come up with an entirely new concept, then we'll need to pause. That’s not to say that we can never go backwards. It’s just that we’ll have to have a conversation about the timeline, and further work might include our hourly fee.
