The Process of Stages is Important
A Deliverable For Every Stage
Stages our way of creating checkpoints for your approvals as we go along. In the Discovery Stage, we’ll deliver a Strategy Plan: a document containing the objectives, audience, and goals of the videos. In the Scripting Stage, we’ll deliver a Story Plan: a document containing a written description of the messaging arc, reference visuals,
and a script if needed. In the Design Stage, we’ll deliver a Design Plan: a document containing a few of the critical screens and elements of your video. In the Production Stage, we’ll deliver the final, full-res version of your new video.
Revision Cycles Are Normal
One of the reasons we provide deliverables at each stage of the process is because we want your feedback. If we nail it the first time, great! On to the next stage. But if it still needs a little work, no problem. That’s built in to the process and timeline. We take your feedback and return with a revised version for your feedback or approval. Rest assured we won’t march ahead to the next stage of the process without your sign-off.
Approvals Are Final
We work hard to give you everything you need to make a thoughtful and informed decision at each stage of the process. But once the approval is given, we move onto the next stage. In other words, moving backward in the process is not part of
the plan. For example, if you approve the Story Plan, then decide in the Design Stage you’d like us to come up with an entirely new concept, then we'll need to pause. That’s not to say that we can never go backwards. It’s just that we’ll have to have a conversation about the timeline, and further work might include our hourly fee.
